The Padmalaya Ensemble comprises of experienced performers who have trained under the guidance of Guru Smt. Padma Murali. Having performed at several prestigious avenues, the Ensemble’s work has been commended as ‘exuberant’, ‘aesthetic’ and ‘(with) clarity, conviction and detailed’. The Ministry of Culture, ICCR and other national and international organisations have supported several of Padmalaya's productions that are eagerly awaited in the dance circles. The Ensemble has been actively involved in fund-raising initiatives. Believing that dance must have a purpose beyond oneself, productions such as the "Voice of Ganga", "Divine Vision" &“Namami Narmade” are but a few examples of our belief and support to environment and health causes. The ensemble brings together performers with unique attributes who come together, complementing each other and forming a collaborative team.

The Junior Ensemble of Padmalaya Dance Foundation is an endearing group of young learners. Earnest and sincere in approach, their presence of stage lights up any day. Our young performers are not only vibrant to watch, but will leave you with a thought or two to carry with you too. Our belief of nurturing thinking individuals is exemplified in these youngsters.
